A lot of changes lately
Rising Star has been making moves recently. They seem to be building the foundation by correcting earlier imbalances. There are now liquidity pools, new millionaire cards are no longer being given out, millionaire missions incentivize reinvestment, and it sounds like several new features are coming to make the game more interesting and interactive.
Being lucky enough to have gotten my millionaire card a while ago, I'm just going to keep building and reinvesting my income in packs and older cards, and some starpro. Since I got the millionaire card I've been steadily reinvesting and now my income per mission has skyrocketed.
On July 14th I posted my first pack opening I bought with my Millionaire rewards card. This is a screen shot of my account after maybe a year of lazily playing.

In a few months I've done about a 2.5x on my fans by over doubling my cards. Most of this was done just reinvesting my 11,000 starbits each day from the Millionaire Mission.
It makes sense why they decided to pull it down to re-evaluate it. The card and mission are very powerful and anyone who's been grandfathered in is fortunate. I look forward to finding out what they eventually do with it. So far I've found many of their moves to make a lot of sense.
One thing I've noticed recently is that they seem to be messing around with ego stats for missions. I'll do one mission to start the day and then all of them seem to cost a lot more ego. I'm not sure what that's about. Maybe they are adjusting the stats to make skill and instrument cards as valuable as the millionaire card made fans?
One thing is for sure, they are making some moves to try to build a better foundation during this bear market and I can't wait to see what else they come up with.
What's in the packs?
The packs are a little dull lately but I can say I was happy to pick up a few of the new Halloween cards that dropped today. I actually bought my packs a little early to get one of these so I could start the missions.
A lot of instruments but nothing moved the needle. That Unicorn guitar is pretty nice though. A good addition to the collection.
Going forward?
What do you think about all the changes to Rising Star lately? The market hasn't seemed to care for them but what does the market like right now? I'll definitely keep reinvesting my earnings and buying 12 new packs every 9 or 10 days. Seems to be a winning strategy so far.
