Crypto can probably handle the traffic. I am most worried about the new people choosing bad exchanges and scam coins. If these people don't learn more about crypto and just follow others in buying things, they will probably lose money. Unlike stocks which may come back after bag-holding, crypto projects can die and they can literally become worthless.
