It sounds like an interesting game and I have a feeling that it might not be that bad of an investment since I could always blog about it from time to time to recoup the initial investment.
I do think the multiple account thing is an issue because if it's profitable, then a lot of accounts will be made and the earnings will drop. However, if you take profits from time to time, I think you will at least earn back what you paid.
