I don't think anything will threaten the dollar fiat-wise. Nobody really knows what else to trust and the Chinese Yuan is obviously something people won't trust either. At least from my view, I would not like it but if the changes are forced, people will just get use to it. So I think they won't really be banning anyone for a long while after implementation so people don't get mad.
