It reminds me of a video I watched from Stevan Van Metre the other day. When oil prices go up, workers need a raise from their employers to pay for the cost. At the same time, the business owner now needs to pay more for shipping his goods. So in a way, the tiny offsets just keep spiraling until it either blows up or is corrected.
