LBI-tokens - I'm planning on going big.

When @spinvest first launched, I thought it was a great concept, and could immediately see the potential for long term, sustainable growth. That has proven to be the case, with the fund growing in a fast and reliable fashion - in USD terms and in HIVE terms - despite a steadily declining STEEM (pre-fork) and now HIVE price. It is proven and battle tested and successful.

Problem is, I don't have enough. @nealmcspadden metioned recently to me a "life changing investment" test. My holdings of SPI have done very well, but they are not life changing. Even if they steadily continue on the path for years to come, they will always be a decent "little" chunk of my holdings. So, this time around, I'll approach LBI differently. Firstly, because I can - my overall financial situation is much better now than it was back when SPI started. But also because I've seen first hand (and even been a part of) how the SPI approach works, and am hugely confident that LBI will follow, or even surpass the SPI experience.

Go big or go home.

This is my plan. LBI will be a fund run by some members with SPI experience, and hopefully other LeoFinance community members with an interest in getting involved. The primary investment of this fund will be in the LEOFinance community. We all know, and have some confidence I think, that LEO is a stand out project, and setting itself on a very different trajectory than other options.

The main thing for me, is that I foolishly also missed the LEO miner boat. I see this fund as my opportunity to hold a similar investment, paying weekly dividends and growing over time. Yes I can do all that myself, and indeed I am, but having a stake in the efforts and knowledge of a group of people leading the project is also potentially beneficial.

Will I be involved?

Many of you would know that I manage the @spinvest-leo account for the SPI project. This has grown over time, and is now a significant component of Spinvest, despite having only had a relatively small investment in the account over time. Nothing will change for this account. @spinvest-leo will coninue to build and re-invest as it is now. We have new content creators for the account bringing more activity and growth in, and I'll keep doing what I am for Spinvest. So, with the new project - LBI - I plan to be less hands on. I'll be behind the scenes to help if needed, throw my $0.02 in with opinions and advice at times, and participate in any votes or decision making required.

My main involvement will be as an investor.

How big?

Once the project opens up, over the first few weeks I'll be buying 20,000 LBI. A big investment for me, all early on, and then thats it. Set it aside as a long term hodl. This will in the short run wipe out most of my LEO holdings. That's ok, I can rebuild that over time. This will give income, and with other methods I can build my direct holdings back in time. The way I see it, LBI's opportunity will be biggest at the start, and LEO my opportunity will be there always.

So there you have it, my plan to go big into LBI tokens.

Thanks for reading - please don't take this as financial advice - it's just my personal thoughts and you should not follow blindly.
