Cardano's Plutus Upgrade
This is a topic with technical jargons that are very complex for my understanding but it is a topic that interests me because ignoring what Cardano is up to isn't going to be the best of ideas from a personal perspective.

The smart contract capability is of interest to me, this is what Ethereum boasts of and have flourish over the years except for the gas fees which we can't stop nagging about which is justified anyway.
With options of other blockchains being capable of smart contracts opens up more opportunities and options alike and invariably competition for blockchains to be at their best development-wise etc.
Plutus is part of the Alonzo upgrade, a major upgrade stage on the Cardano roadmap which introduces smart contracts and the ability to build dapps. In an earlier blog post, the team hinted at a timeline: Source
Cardano is looking promising with these upgrades, it is setting itself as one of the blockchains that will be of success going forward, which should be impacting its native token ADA which recently hit an ATH of $1.54 but currently trades at $1.45.
We might be looking at a double digit token few months from now.
