I like your comparison of flower and upvote, personally I have been onboarding friends, they get the motivation when they see my account balance but when they land on here, they just fail to put in the effort for long term growth.

We are mostly drawn to beautiful, shinny things but don't want to put in the effort to make our own stuff beautiful.
