Working on the foundation requires permission from the witnesses. So if we wanted to make something like this it would have to be a permissinless token. This makes LEO a good focus of the experimental tech.

THIS. The status quo is the status quo on the first layer so I'm not expecting anything to change there. I'm OK with that because the second layer is more exciting to me anyways and probably where the experimental tech should be.
