My New Era in Genesis League Sports (GLS)

The emergence of #hive has given rise to different avenues for earning worthwhile tokens in the web3 ecosystem. One way to participate in this innovation is by being part of the #hive team. How? Just to mention but a few, one could get involved by: investing in #hive and its valuable second-layer tokens, trading, creating quality content on the platform that could help the platform et al.

Talking about the second-layer token, $SPS has been one outstanding token in that I fully participate in both earning and investing. This token was birth from the #splinterlands community which centers on gaming, a play-to-earn game. As that was not enough, the Splinterlands team came up with a sporting platform known as Genesis League Sports (GLS). This platform came as an airdrop right from the 25th of October and hoping to run for a year. Analyzing such progressive growth, you will agree why Splinterlands assets have always been the delight of GameFi investors.

Splinterlands is a free-to-play card game that could be played with a browser or on your mobile phone. The uniqueness of the game is that it is a play2earn game, meaning that every card that you obtain in the game be it in NFTs or a non-fungible token is yours and could be sold in the marketplace to gain money. All items collected value for exchange; you can either sell your cards or rent them out, then you get paid with the in-game currency called the Dark Energy Crystal (DEC). This DEC is worth being in the marketplace too.

*Genesis League Sports (GLS) is a decentralized gaming ecosystem that allows true player ownership of sports-related digital assets in addition to a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that will give players governance control over many aspects of the platform. It provides a secure and user-friendly blockchain experience for gamers and sports fans.

What Next:

As a way to begin the week and keep being relevant in this bear season, I have taken advantage of the #splinterlands team initiative by buying more #glx tokens to keep it growing in the marketplace.
