The Greatest Investment Advice Ever?

I was pleasantly surprised this week to be interviewed on the @@spinvest-leo account!

I was featured today in their 'Meet The Cracks' post and wanted to dive into a couple of questions that were asked...

What crypto did you realize your biggest gain on?

and

What crypto did you realize your biggest loss on?

Easy answers right....Especially here on @LeoFinance

You guys in this community are the cream of the crop when it comes to investing in this crazy crypto stuff. I read post after post of absolute gems and am confident to say, Leo Lions are some of the wisest investors in all of crypto.

When it comes to my time in the arena...It's not that exciting!

In fact, that first question that was asked of me I was taken back when I realized...Nothing was realized LOL

I got into crypto (again) in 2017. I was in it before but never really appreciated how early I was and how much of an opportunity was in front of me....Fiat was my target and that's all I was thinking about.

But in 2017...I went in! With the limited amount of extra cash I had, I dove into Steem....At all time highs of course. And haven't looked back since....

In fact, I have never taken a penny out of Hive (Steem then) and flipped it back into fiat. It's always either remained in the eco-system or purchased another crypto. My game plan for this stuff was to see a 5 year plan through....I'm starting year #4 in December ;)

So this answers the first and second question simply because...I haven't made a penny or lost a penny either.

I hold.

And I dollar cost average into the positions I believe in.

Sooo boring!

Look, I respect the HECK out of the guys and gals that understand the markets. They can do TA until they are blue in the face...And understand what the heck Bollinger Bands even means...

But then there is yours truly!

Good ol' Jongo doesn't have the knowledge of when to trade and what to trade...But I know this...

Use case.

So my formula for getting into any of this crypto stuff is simple:

Best investment advice ever?

Absolutely not LOL

Because it's really different strokes for different folks...

But for me, it's the perfect advice.

I don't understand DeFi. I think Ethereum is the most over priced thing on earth. I like to actually use things that I purchase....

So for me, this formula works!

If you are just starting out on your crypto journey, the biggest piece of advice I could give you is...

Do. Your. Own. Research!

Find out about the projects, read the whitepapers, look into the team behind the crypto...And then make informed decisions about what you put ANY money into.

Never spend a dime that you cannot afford to lose...And above all else...
