Back in the days on steem, it was considered a taboo to actually ask for help, ask for a vote or maybe, you know... beg for one. I understood, this felt spammy wasn't synonymous with what a decentralized social media should be like. But everything has evolved and nowadays, you don't have that idealistic dominance held by badass whales, a lot of them has actually mellowed and many has left too.

This post isn't "whale-ish" or about blockchain governance and the rest. This post explores a social aspect. Let's be factual, engagement is important to a large extent and this is how growth is often forestalled. I myself have risen through the ranks as a result of constantly engaging, putting in money and time, and somehow I feel, my engagers, you all, are the reasons why I'm happy to turn up every day with that desired inspiration to post.

As a person who brings engagement and content, there's a social aspect of the blockchain which you fill the void. Engagement isn't just about commenting, it's about being part of the chain that forms a faucet of force, a belonging, a face, or can I say avatar, part of a stat.

This also includes being part of the people that holds an even a belief in the prospects of hive as a project. Facebook is a project that's become successful overtime as a result of the grind and consistency that people put in and not just the team behind the computers, censoring, deleting or making those rules. Without the people to actually use it, then it becomes a shiny toy without any real need for attraction.

At 5 cent for example, a lot of people were here, at 20, same people were too, at 30 same people are too, constantly pulling in weight to actually build. I used to tell people that the present prices of hive don't matter to me, because I'm not in a hurry to go, the fact that I want to stay for as long as possible.

This aspect forms a definition of what I'll term as engagement as well. Powering up, staking, selling, investing, contenting, commenting, being part of the chain, choosing to only curate or even choosing to be an audience to the diverse contents in the communities that are churned out on a daily basis. They un-spammy person is filling a void... A space, a role which shouldn't be underrated.

To the people who have endlessly turned up to engage with not just my post, but becoming familiar with me, please feel free to feel entitled, I'm a small dolphin in the pond and this is actually my perspective and opinion. I feel that you can come to my post to ask for support either in terms of reblogs, to be part of your project, a podcast, or go be a face of any project you're working on, feel free.

If you basically feel that you've constantly engaged with me and I haven't reciprocated, feel free to feel entitled.. Drop your comment and tell me and let's work something out. This is because I feel that you're part of me and I want to be part of you as well. If you feel I've been a pompous prick, drop your comment and lay down your feedbacks. I'll take it as constructive criticism and do better.

It's not just about the money, it's about creating a plethora of dominance. So I want to give every hard worker, a believer in the project of hive to feel entitled. Not to everyone they meet but to particularly me as each and every one has their perspective. I've had a massive amount of engagements on my comments lately and @dynamichivers one of the dominant aspect was the reason I have made this post.

In retrospect, hit me up, discord, WhatsApp, telegram or anywhere, let me be a part of you as you've been a part of me. I don't want to have a compartmentalized mindset, everyone who makes impact deserves to be in the circle... In the mix and in the thick of things. So I'm taking the time to appreciate everyone who is currently doing well for them chain and as well as taking their time to contributing to my post. Always drop a comment to me when you feel you need anything within my mean.
