In this post, I talked about delegating your larynx power to node operators on the #spk network. So I decided to revisit https://vue.dlux.io/me#/, logged in, and powered up my remaining larynx token, the one I got for July, although I was thinking I'd wait till tomorrow which is the first day of September to get my claim drop before doing another delegation, but then, I decided to accumulate three or four extra months of claimdrops, powering up before doing another delegation.

So I previously had 6500 delegations going out, I initially decided to test it with that to see what the ROI would look like. It's not like I'm expecting too much, but I've decided to test it and today, I'm decided to come back with an extra 6000 larynx tokens added with the previous 6500 to make it 12500 larynx tokens. This time around, I decided to add @dalz node operator, then @l337m45732 as well. There are so many mode operators and more are joining every day. You can check the SPKCC Monitor here to see the active node operators as well.

Before

After

I also decided to increase my delegation for v4vapp run by @brianoflondon and it is smooth. Now some people are asking if they should lock or delegate their larynx token, but I guess regular people who do not have the intent of running a node can do the latter. I just feel a time would come when there would be more use cases than just delegations. The inflation is very low at the moment and I guess this is good at the moment. I guess the reason is that we don't want many people selling their larynx tokens before any or more use cases can materialize for them.

The run down of the delegation

Apart from this, having a use case creates a need to hold them, although I've not seen many people selling off which is a good thing, not that are easier outlets or enough liquidity to do so and this is somehow good at the earliest phase of having these developments running out slowly.

I think the node operators are going to benefit big from running these nodes especially because they're part of the framework of the network and because they're early adopters. All these are in theory and I want to see the real value that we'd see in the course of 6 months to one year.

I think over time, the inflation will change, but for now, it's currently low and I'm sure people are more focused on staking and delegating their token for the time being.

The thing is, I'm not sure how returns work, (I'm not good with figures nor calculating) ROI and this is because since the last delegation I've not checked to see where these returns are added. But the exciting thing about the delegation process is that it's quite easy and @spknetwork has done a good job in rolling out how the framework of everything is going to be.

I like how it's currently going, I try not to put a lot of expectations, because this might be placing too much on the development of the network and I want to give this project enough time to be up and doing.

This one is for the future and of course, everyone in crypto and blockchain knows that time is always of the essence. It's another new month tomorrow and you can head over to https://vue.dlux.io/me#/, to experience everything for yourself.
