It is said that investors should be mindful of where they put their money because any money you put in the wrong place will be proof of your wrong investment decision.

How true is that?

I will start by saying that I'm looking forward to this conversation because we are already at a stage where even a teen in high school has stakes in Crypto, the stock market or some other places.

Investment is a hot topic and many people want to feel what it's like to be an investor.

It would have been better if there was a place to just play around until you see yourself as someone ready to explore the real world of investment, but there is no such thing. In other words, you can never get a true feeling of being an investor until your put your money somewhere.

If you get it right, it counts as a good investment. If not, then... that's a bad investment.

Do you see? From the moment you get into investing, you will have to face one of two results; profit or loss.

This begs the question;

***

How can we know the right place to put the money?

***

This looks like a simple question that demands a simple answer, but the dynamics and complexities that go with various investment units make it hard to outrightly blurt out an answer.

For example, Crypto will always be a good investment, but the time you put your money into it will decide your chances of making a profit. Another important factor that has to be considered is the lifespan you are giving the investment. 2 years? 2 months? or 2 days?

Oh, let's not forget that you need to be mindful of the exact Crypto you are putting your money on.

Do you see my point?

Information is very important!

There are opportunities which are harder to miss than to grab, but so many investors miss these opportunities because they are not well informed. It's very rare to see an investor who isn't investing a good amount of time in research. It's too rare.

Trying to win big in the name of 'investment' without doing your research about what you are investing in is exactly what gamblers do. I mean, even the gamblers of this generation do their research.

What about you 'investors'?

Do you do any research before adding some 'potential asset' to your portfolio?

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma
