Take this from me, nothing is easy in this Cryptoverse. The buying, selling, HODLing, researching, Crypto jargons... Nothing!

It's possible that you've been into this crypto thing for so long and it's becoming a normal thing for you to glance at the roadmap of any Crypto project and outrightly say that it's worth being acquired or not. This is similar to how people play around with hive engine tokens.

How many people in this place know how to do that?

Trust me, a lot of people that have been writing here for some months do not know what goes on in hive engine. Some are still sending their hive to a third party to convert it to their local currency. Now, imagine how tough it can be for someone that is a rookie in all ramification to understand Crypto and all it entails.

Sometimes, when you tell a novice about Crypto, you may not know that your words are sounding more or less like gibberish. I know this because l was once in that position and the experience was not funny. I often look back at the old me and laugh at the type of ignorance l displayed. Not all were funny but all l can do at the moment is to laugh it off and commit my time to more learning so that l will never see myself as an all-around rookie again.

I've seen posts from veterans and l can assure you that a lot of things associated with crypto can only be learnt by experience. That notwithstanding, l do have to laud my effort for learning the little l know so far.

Today is a good day to look back and appreciate how much I've learned in a very short period. I may as well blow my own horn.

As of August 23, 2020, 2:35 P.M GMT, l got the a message from a very generous Dreamer on Tiger Trend Discord Channel.

"Send me your ETH wallet address, please I will send you the money for your lunch :)"

Did you notice the date? That was 10 months ago. Could you believe that l didn't know how to get my ETH wallet address at that time? ROFL!... I'm having a good laugh at the moment but it wasn't so funny that day.

I didn't ask how l can get the address because we were having a serious conversation, but that in itself is just a good excuse because from want l know about me, l doubt if l would have been able to ask her anything about how to get my ETH wallet. Call me prideful -I will take it. l know that l would be making the same decision if l was to relive that moment.

I had to go into research immediately after the meeting so, l ended up learning about that from a YouTube video. I started from downloading Trust wallet, installing it, and then comes the 12 magical words which l still protect like an egg to date. I successfully sent the wallet address later that night and l can assure you that the series of videos l watched that day taught me a lot -including what l didn't need at that time.

Long story short, l gradually started learning other Crypto related stuffs. I was learning it at my pace and l also had people that were readily available to answer any question l had. At least, l felt good about only asking what l saw as intelligent questions instead of a silly question.

FTR, no question is a silly question. It's just myself, talking to myself, about my journey from a rookie to something else.
