The Coin Engraver didn't have much to go on other than the Flag. The Ranger sailing ship was described either a Sloop or a Brigatine both having distinct designs but which one? The wood block artwork is the only distinct likeness of 'Calico' Jack. Meanwhile, in the Black Flag series, the producer settled on the Ranger as a 3 masted Barque! Pirate stories of their exploit are like car mirrors, objects appear bigger than they really are. Thanks for the support Sis! !LADY
