The Hedera Governing Council releases 10.7 billion HBAR, Hedera Hashgraph’s native token to help develop and expand their ecosystem. This is equivalent to $4.5 billion at the current market price mark ($0.42) actually representing 20% of the token’s total supply. Since the allocation in July 14, the 10.7 billion HBAR has doubled in value, the funds is already sent to independent HBAR Foundation responsible for the distribution.
