This moves is a great move for Coinbase as it paves the way for Coinbase to start offering major (5) cryptocurrencies including ether and bitcoin in the Japanese market.
Coinbase is a Nasdaq-listed exchange and the 5 major cryptocurrencies that it will be offering to the Japanese market are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. Once the registration has been finalized more cryptocurrencies will be added.
Japan is one of the largest region for trading in the world and seems lucrative enough for most people that don’t mind jump into the crypto market.
