Say hello to WAX Hub | Community tools for WAX creators & collectors
It's no secret that the WAX blockchain is the most-used blockchain for NFTs & gaming. Some would argue that it's the absolute best, the self-proclaimed "King of NFTs", because it's purpose-built and incredibly powerful.
If you've ever read any of my content or heard about my project called GM:FRENS, you know that I'm a big supporter of the WAX blockchain and ecosystem. You might notice that on Threads, the #gmfrens tag basically stays trending because people are mining $GM by interacting with one another.
Anyway, back to the point. I recently came across WAX Hub, which immediately reminded me of Crew3 in a lot of ways. It's a platform that is very useful for both WAX creators and supporters. This is not your average bounty platform like Cashrain or Crew3, though.
Not only do you have the opportunity to support your favorite projects, but you also have the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards such as NFTs & more. The most unique thing about the platform, in my opinion, is that you can include your skills to showcase. Maybe you set your skills to Content Writer and you build up your reputation to the point where projects want you to write for them.
As you complete tasks and activities on the platform, you'll accumulate WAX Points, Reputation, and Influence scores. WAX points can be redeemed in the marketplace for all kinds of cool badges, and more will come as people continue joining. There's even NFT & WAX tokens available to claim!
On top of having the opportunity to complete tasks and engage with other community members, there's a Community Board. This is a hub for everything WAX related, including real time tweets, reddit posts, and articles. Definitely a great place to discover new projects.
Literally anyone can create activities for others to complete. You can best your ass that this is going to get used for GM:FRENS very soon, so be on the lookout for that! I'm working on building my reputation slowly so maybe it will get some eyes on the projects. That's the ultimate goal.
Regardless if you're a WAX expert, an NFT creator, a project founder, a blockchain gamer, or just someone that collects WAX NFTs... I highly encourage you to join and start building up your reputation now. You'll be stacking up WAX Points for when the next cool rewards drop, and you'll be creating a social reputation for yourself.
Social reputations are extremely valuable, and very powerful. Just take a look at your Hive account. You have a reputation, a history, and an immutable track record on the Hive blockchain. This is something that a lot of other blockchains can't even come close to.
Why does social reputation matter in this case? Well, there's a number of reasons. If someone has a great social reputation, odds are they probably won't scam you. They probably do everything they can to defend that reputation, because trust is unvaluable. I'm more likely to invest in a project from someone with a great reputation on Hive, rather than a project from a random anon.
