Land resources in Splinterlands come in two variations:

• natural
• magical

Natural resources are:

• grain
• wood
• stone
• ore

Magical resources are:

• Virtulium
• Reclaimed Souls
• Ulana Seeds
• Sparkstone
• Bottled Storms
• Heliostones

Essences can be extracted from wild monsters on Occupied plots.

Together with occupied land, natural and magical resources represent land categories.
