I don't think I would have issues with Facebook putting ads on VR. I won't like it, but they have their rights to do so on their own services/products, and I will just simply ignore like I always do.

We cannot stop ads. Ads are actually everywhere even on blockchain like you said. The Brave browser stop other ads, but runs its own.

We need to adapt and ignore. Some ads might be useful though (tweet, reblog a leofinance post is kind of ads, too).
