Hello readers,

I was inactive for almost a week as I was busy celebrating our regional festival Durga Puja celebration in here. In our state, it’s the biggest festival that we celebrate every year. The festive lasts for 5 days and ended yesterday and left me so many good memories. I enjoyed these days with my family and friends and visited many theme pandals of Goddess Durga. Anyways, thou I wasn’t active during these days and haven't posted any blogs as well, I managed to find time to play splinterlands and used the ECR after my daily focus missions. We are already in the middle of this ongoing season with only 8 days left and I am still battling in Diamond III. The new Riftwatchers cards are already getting appeared often in battles and some of them are really hard to kill down. Looks like I have to collect them faster or I will continue losing matches on big scale.

On the other hand, I bought all the latest reward cards off market and trying to learn their true potential throu using them in matches. I also started buying single BCX cards of the latest airdropped card CONQUEROR JACEK and till now bought only 2 and required 9 more to make it max level. Among the new reward cards, I really liked the Countess SINASH and Tide Biter monster and started using them often in battles. But another card that is drawing my attention from these new cards is the VAMPIRE BAT. This new reward card is selling for very cheap in market because of it’s huge availability but with characteristics like high speed and flying + evade ability, this card is really useful against melee and range attacks. So in today’s post, let me showcase this brother of Cocatrice to all of you.

VAMPIRE BAT

This monster belongs to the Earth Splinter and it is a common type card so it requires total 400 cards to make a max level. It needs only 3 mana to be used in battles and at max level it possesses 2 abilities - flying and Evade along with good overall stats. Let us now take a deep look into it’s stats and abilities tier wise to find out more about this card.

Bronze

At level 3, this card gets 1 melee attack at 4 speed and 4 health and also acquires the flying ability from it’s initial level. Even at Bronze level, this monster can evade some attacks with it’s good amount of speed and flying ability.

Silver

At the Silver tier, you can use upto 5th level of this card where it possesses 2 melee attack at 4 speed and 4 health along with the Flying ability. The increased melee power will help you kill down enemy cards faster.

Gold

At the Hold tier, you can use upto level 8 of this card where it gets 2 melee attack at 5 speed with 5 health and also gets the Evade ability from level 6.

Diamond / Champion

At the max level, this card possesses 3 melee attack at 5 speed with 6 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. The high attack is very useful in the max level while the increased heath will help you stay alive for longer in battles, making it a good choice against melee and ranged attacks.

Important points about Vampire Bat

  • This card inly requires 3 mana to join battles so you can easily use this card in mini mana limit matches and also in matches with Little League ruleset.

  • This card’s Flying ability makes it hard to target this card for non flying enemy cards while this card will have high chance to hit enemy flying cards.

  • On the other hand, the Evade ability will it help it further to stay untouched from melee and range attacks with increased evading chances.

  • The Evade + Flying ability combo joined by high speed together makes this card untouchable against melee and range attacks and if used rightly, you can evade multiple attacks in a match.

  • However, this monster gets weaker against magic attacks and will go down easily if the opponent uses multiple magic throwers against it. So use it with care.

Market Stats

This new reward card is currently being sold for a very cheap price which may be considered as it’s floor price. The single BCX cards of this monster is right now selling for 0.01$ only and for a max level, you have to spend only 2.77$ for this card. On the other hand, the Gold foil of this card is selling for 0.19$ for single BCX and will cost you about 8$ to buy max level of this card in Gold foil.

VAMPIRE BAT

I used the Vampire Bat at the front position of my lineup as my front defence and I used a max level bat in here which possesses 3 melee attack at 5 speed with 6 health along with the Flying and Evade ability.

FAILED SUMMONER

I chose the Failed summoner monster at the second position of my lineup and as my second set of defence if the bat fails to protect my front. I am using a max level in here and it has 2 speed and 8 health with no attack and 3 abilities - magic reflect, Demoralize and Strengthen.

ELVEN MYSTIC

I chose an anti magic card Elven at the third position of my lineup to weaken the enemy magic cards. I am using a max level in here and it has 2 magic attack at 4 speed and 5 health along with the Silence and Affliction ability.

SPORCERER

I used this not so popular but very useful Sporcerer monster at the fourth position of my lineup to further weaken the magic enemy monsters. I am using a max level 6 of this monster and it has 3 magic attack at 2 speed and 6 health along with 3 abilities - Rust, Silence and Affliction.

REGAL PERYTON

I love this new chaos magic monster very much because of it’s high speed and Flying ability. I am using a max level 8 in here and it has 3 magic attack at 7 speed and 8 health along with Flying ability.

DOCTOR BLIGHT

I used the legendary Doctor Blight at the last position of my lineup to decrease the health and apply poison upon the enemy cards. I used a max level 4 of this card which possesses 2 magic attack at 1 speed and 4 health along with 5 abilities - Affliction, Camouflage, Poison, Scavenger and Weaken ability.

BATTLE BEGINS

Round 1

As the match got revealed, I find out that my opponent has used the legendary chaos Life summoner GRANDMASTER RATHE against me. As the battle started and all the monsters applied their buffs and debuffs, my Regal attacked first and reduced some armour from the enemy Shieldbearer but next the enemy Time Mage launched it’s magic attack and damaged my Vampire Bat. Then the enemy loan boatman damaged my Failed Summoner and followed by it’s attack, the enemy Celestial Harpy attacked and wounded my Bat again. Next, my Bat attacked and took down the broken shield from the Bat, followed by my Elven’s attack which then attacked upon the Shieldbearer and also applied affliction upon it. The Shieldbearer then attacked but missed it’s chance upon my Vampire Bat. Lastly, the Sporcerer and Doctor Blight attacked and brought the Shieldbearer’s health down to 6 and the first round ended here.

Round 2

As the second round started, the enemy Time mage again attacked upon my Vampire Bat and wounded it’s health down to 4. But then as the match continuous, the bat helped to kill down the Shieldbearer and by the end of round 2, it was still alive with 3 health.

Round 3

At the beginning of the third round, the enemy Truthspeaker took the first place and with first 2 attacks, the opponent killed down my failed summoner but the Bat was still alive. Then the bat attacked and broke the truth’s armour and then, my other monsters attacked it and finally it got killed by my Sporcerer.

Round 4

On the fourth round, my Regal monster attacked first and killed down the enemy Time Mage and then both my Vampire Bat and Elven attacked together and killed down the enemy Harpy. The inly enemy monster that was left in the opponent’s side was the Loan Boatman which at last got killed by my Sporcerer and Doctor Blight and thus I won this match.

In this match, the Vampire Bat really served well as a front defence card and till the end of the match, he stayed alive and protected it’s ground. The enemy used a strong magic attacker Time Mage but both of my Silenced ability monster weakened it’s attack power down to 1 so it didn't affect much upon my Vampire Bat. Otherwise, the Vampire bat also evaded some attacks as well which costed the opponent badly and ultimately with the help of my magic attackers, I win the match easily.

I hope you also liked the performance of the Vampire Bat in this match. Do you also own this monster and use it in your battles and prefer other attackers over it? Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
