Axie Infinity and Hive is the best location to learn about new and emerging Cryptocurrancy
If you've opened up the crypto news today you would see it all filled with articles about Axie Infinity and how well it's doing. It also feels like yesterday that we were discussing block chain games and I raised a few of my thoughts on what was needed. It appears someone was already working on it.
Axie Infinity is the new age era of block chain gaming consisting of a Pokemon style open world. I can't give you too much info as I haven't opened it yet but will in the coming days. I feel ill have the upper edge being in Australia and not many players, well I'm tipping.
But this game was first announced by @raymondspeaks in the #mancave a few weeks ago. I did see it and wanted to invest but I have a rule despite aping into alot of things my apes are planned. I can't be across everything and I will miss out on things but I will also gain too. But Axie Infinity seems to be a game that has captured the blockchain world by storm.
If you're worried you've missed out, don't be as the game is still being set up and from what's being reported will be huge. Axie experienced a 45% increase in token value today and the highest selling NFT sold for 300 Ethereum.
The game centres around Axies which are tokenised characters which players can train, grow and battle other users for prizes.
The game comes with an inbuilt marketplace to purchase you characters but be warned they're quite expensive and this could be a sign of hyper inflation. I'd anticipate items will drop in price as Axie begins to stablise and new players enter.
The game has a native governance token called AXS which was launched in November last year and hasn't seen too much movement since launch. June provided a growing month for all ERC20 tokenised games including Sand and Mana.
AXS was trading at $US18 today providing a 45% increase. With news breaking of the $US633,000 NFT/character no doubt it will spur market interest as people rush to the new craze. You can read more about Axie Infinity Here

So far there have been a number of new and emerging blockchains and tokens that have been shared in the ManCave which is a group consisting of us degenerates mainly just shit posting each other in discord and having a laugh.
