There are other stable coins available and utilising AVA would be a good option if you're involved in the network and are building a position. But if you're just looking at booking a holiday and spending the money it would probably be better to use stables but everyone needs to do what's best for them.

UST atm is growing in acceptance and the developers building on it to make it usable outside of blockchain technology is pretty exciting.
