WIN 300K IN TERRA NETWORK'S LEARGETS EVER HACKATHON
Alpha and Terra Network join forces to host the largest Terra Hackathon with $US300,000 dollars up for grabs shared amongst 15 winners to kick start their own Terra (Luna) Network project. The event is tipped to draw in some of the largest minds currently in the WEB 3 world.
The event will also provide current developers the chance to upskill and join teams with no prior WEB3 experience required just the ability to code and build dApps.
The event is also open to:
- Frontend & backend developers
- Visual and UI/UX designers
- Business development and marketing experts
- Lunatics
With the sole focus on driving Terra (Luna) Network forward and increase the usage of UST and mainstream adoption, developing new and innovative Decentralised Finance (De-Fi) dApps on the Terra (Luna) Ecosystem, projects and protocols beyond traditional De-Fi including GameFI, Play2Earn or whatever else that teams are able to come up with.
Lunatics are also encouraged to join to provide their own feedback and experience on the Terra (Luna) Network and help develop a broad ecosystem that meets their needs and helps deliver a leading Blockchain.
When does registrations open?
Registrations are currently open and will close on the 9th of May. To register, participants will need to sign into Eventornado than register for the event and either join a team or submit their idea for selection which will be judged by a public voting mechanism on the 10th of May.
Pre-Selection and Feedback will be provided on the 16th of May and for those that have made the selection panel the Hackathon will commence on the 21st of May at 10:00am.
Teams will have until the 6th of June to finalise their submission with evaluations taking place and the Hackathon contest closing on the 14th of June with the winner also announced.
Two Focus Tracks
Participants will need to select a track they wish to put in a submission for with the Prototype track having up to 10 winners with $US10,000 per project as the winning prize. This track also provides flexibility with participants not required to have a team at registration but must have one during team formation.
The primary focus of this track is to hack a new prototype that meets the selection criteria and must be able to commit 10 hrs a week during the first 2 weeks of the program,
The Accelerate track is a lot more focused with participants required to have a team and some code already developed with fleshed out concepts. Participants will also be required to work longer than the 2 weeks and should have existing proof-of-work prior to registration.
There will be 5 projects selected as winners with each project allocated $US40,000 to continue developing their project. There are additional offers available with projects in the Accelerate track eligible to receive funding from Terraform Capital, Hashed and Coin98 and the chance to gain institutional investment and professional services funded.
