Recently life spanked me the way it hadn't since my daughter was diagnosed with a birth defect which made her dad lose his shit and me in turn lose my home

But this time. I knew better.

And, well. My kids were healthy, so I guess, it just spanked me, but not like that.

I was thankfully able to cash out some Hive Based Income, and even in California, it made a difference

A huge difference.

A month's income worth of difference.

In California.

During a bear market

The money did not come from HIVE, but it was all somehow earned here.

And I still didn't have to power down.

I have set my plans, hopes and delegations, and see how my accounts are on there way to recovery.

Except HBD.

Seems like the only way to earn HBD is by writing, or by already having HBD.

Seems like a big bottleneck.

All other coins have ways to grow without blogging

Splinterlands lets you rent cards and use diesel pools

CTP, Alive, LEO you can earn by delegating

SPI pays in HIVE, you turn around and buy more

SIM grows in all kinds of ways

Hive multiplies onto itself

But HBD can only be earned by blogging.

So here's me earning some HBD.
