Somebody asked me what my ultimate goal with Splinterlands was, actually, the conversation stemmed from having to capitulate and sell off my cards. But the thing is I see my venture into Splinterlands in a different way.

Splinterlands experienced an overall economic boom in Nov-Dec 2021 and I was there through it all. I was making decent profits from renting my cards and wining battles in my league, sometimes I even earned more from playing battles than I did from writing.

I lived through that period and caught a glimpse of what the future could look like. Accepted, it took a bull market for me to come to that realization, but that realization doesnā€™t depend on a bull market, it all depends on my league, users in champion league are definitely making more bank than users in Diamond league, etc.

So whatā€™s my ultimate goal with Splinterlands? erm, build my account enough to be able to generate tangible steady passive income by playing and renting out unused cards?.....It has to be something in this line.

So how am I going to do this? By buying 1k CL packs, Iā€™m at 100 at the moment, 900 more to go. Most of this will be funded by vouchers and SpS airdrop, awesome stuff, and personal funds from me, a thousand packs plus a bull market will feel so gooooood!

Also, a thousand packs also gives me more chances at leveling up my deck. I hope to do this before the next bull market. How do I know there will be another bull market? TBH Iā€™m 100% certain of it, but when it will happen, I have zero idea, infact if there was a word lesser than zero, it will be it.

My guts tell me itā€™ll be something after CL packs have been sold out. Weā€™ll see weā€™ll see.

The Validator nodes have been a success so far itā€™s so cool to see. I hate that Iā€™m not participating in this pre sale, itā€™s not every time one gets to be offered this type of opportunity. But given my current financial capacity, Iā€™ll be forced to sit this out.

So yeah, itā€™s not about cashing out a couple of thousands of dollars, itā€™s about building a position that will be productive, rewarding and available for a very long term. As you might have guessed, the person didnā€™t follow. This is why I avoid money talks with muggles. And I really canā€™t blame them, they didnā€™t see what I saw.
