So check this out, a pack of Splinterlands cards is worth $2. According to the information provided by this discord bot, I’ve bought about 75 packs since I started playing, if we multiply 75*2=150. So ultimately I’ve spent only about $150 on a deck that is now worth $1k! I’m horrible at maths, please how many X% is that? Over 70%? Blooooown!!!!

It’s crazy I know....I got a bunch more cards from winning battles, few airdrops here and there and that’s it, these days I don’t even play anymore, I just breeze in and breeze out and yap about playing instead of actually playing. Speaking of yapping about playing, Splinterlands does this thing where you earn just for sharing valuable content about your experience in playing, you can choose to invest your earnings into buying more cards or whatever, I’ve bought few cards with mine but I’ve mostly used a huge lot to grow my hive power.

....You don’t get that on C.O.D, Aliens worlds, or other Ethereum based blockchain games making noise out there. I’ve been yapping about Splinterlands for about 2 years now and I’ve been earning by doing just that, Splinterlands allows players to earn from multiple streams, you can play, Yapp like me, Rent cards or just speculate on cards...

I wrote a post last night about being at a crossroads again, I was considering taking profits, I take it back, I’m in the best position I’ve ever been as far as Splinterlands is concerned, whether the ship floats or sinks I’m with it all the way. I see no sinking though, it’s been about the growth and expansion for Splinterlands since its inception, why will it stop now? If the rate and quality of development keeps going at this rate, then I really haven’t seen anything yet...

Lastly, if I do take profits now, it's only going to reduce my deck strength and make it tougher for me to kick @belemo’s ass during battle. I'm confident that I'm going to look back at this time as a Splinterlands O.G and ill be proud I hodl’d and even got more, remember that Bitcoin guy that held bitcoin from when it was worth 10$? Yeah that's what I'm talking about......
