Hello fren,

Do you know what’s untop of my mind? Getting 1 of those SPS validator licenses. See, the thing is, it’s happening again, you know those situations when you know a token is a moonshot, deep down you know it but for some reason you still don’t get it, all in the name of playing safe.

I’m facing that exact situation right now, I know the SPS validators is going to be a tremendously huge success, just like Lands were, it still hurts me that I watched lands moon from infancy and still didn’t own one.

During the Lands presale, it was stated that Lands were going to be very scarce assets, hence the potential for their prices to moon were very likely, guess what I saw about Validators, almost exact same words, I’ll link it below.

However, unlike Lands, Validators are much more expensive, lands at the time were ranging from 20$ and above, Validators are ranging from $2k and above. Funny thing is, $20 didn’t seem like something I could afford back at the time, but by the time I could afford it, the prices of Lands had mooned to over $900 during the 2021 Nov-Dec run.

Please tell me, isn’t this the exact thing repeating itself? At the moment I’m thinking $2k is too much, but by the time when I’m able to afford that $2k investment, I’m 100% sure that the price of validators would have mooned. Oh! And I ended up buying a Plot of land for $800.

Can I afford $2k? Yeah, No! I’ve been saving up to take advantage of these type of opportunities, if what happened during Lands presale repeats itself, I’ll be super grateful for making this move and I’ll be able to return my capital, but if it flops which is highly unlikely, that’s some heavy capital in the bin.

Like I said, it is highly unlikely, here’s a snippet from the Validators announcement post.

We invite you to pick up one or several of these node licenses early as supplies are quite limited and prices will increase as more licenses are sold. If you thought land was scarce at 150,000 plots you will realize that with only 60k node licenses ever available that nodes are essentially the scarcest assset type in the game, and they will be able to earn SPS, vouchers, and potentially other rewards in the future for as long as the game is running. If you read this post I wrote a while ago, this is a practical scenario totally depicting what I envisioned and the message I was trying to pass, I’m surrounded with opportunities, I’m in a typical investors dilemma, the other day, I explained my ordeal in trying to squeeze out funds to Ape into Polycubs pHBD-USDC pool.

Now I’m being presented with another top notch opportunity, I can feel it in my bones that this will be a moonshot. Now I’ve been powering down some Hive to take advantage of Hives imminent pump, if I deep my hands further into my pockets and it works out well, I’ll be proving what I wrote in this post, otherwise, it will sting like crazy.

But what are the odds? I certainly don’t want to be locked in on Validators when Hive is mooning, neither do I want to be locked in on Hive when Validators are mooning.

If Validators turn out to be like Lands or any of the other super limited assets on Splinterlands in the past, I’ll be able to come to back and drastically increase my initial investment.

One mind is saying I should just continue building a stable coin stash and focus on my 10k goal while I wait for another opportunity, the other mind is saying, No risk no reward, this is how legends are made. Meanwhile my pocket is looking at them both like

lol laugh at my pain...I’m in the mood for some serious financial breakthrough. I need like $2m to sort out my not so immediate needs, about $10k for my immediate needs and about $2k for my most pressing need. Manifestiiiiiiiiiiing 🧘

What are your thoughts on investing in SPS Validators?
