Why I love Hive - Day 1 - Anticipate

I love Hive for many reasons, one that is of extreme importance to me is the opportunity it gives me to be a part of grand innovations in their early stages. Hive is a technology that is way ahead of its time, naturally, it passes down this attribute to other technologies built on top of it, most turn out to also be way ahead of their time.

Leofinance for example, as a product of a second layer solution on Hive, extends the applicability of Hive’s social core into other aspects of innovations in the cryptospace such as DeFi.

When Khal was asked about the difference between Steem and Leofinance. He clearly stated that Leofinance brings extensibility to the social economic idea behind Steem which is now Hive.

While Leofinance is majorly known as a blogging platform with a niche in Finance, it is truly only a piece of the pie, Leofinance as a web 3 community on Hive has a mission to extend financial opportunities to the social media space....

........by building tools and doing rigorous research into the worlds leading decentralized finance platforms and carving out sustainable yield optimizing protocols that will in the long run maximize the profit potential of the participants. Leofinance has gone ahead to launch Cubdefi and Polycub, both of which I’ve become a participant of since their inception.

Another example is Splinterlands, I could say I was one of the first 100 people to play Splinterlands at its inception, Splinterlands has since grown to become the second most used blockchain app in the world and the most played blockchain game in the world.

Leofinance and Splinterlands are both projects that are way ahead of their time and are presently undervalued gems in crypto, I’m also a participant of other gems within the Hive ecosystem that are gradually making strides and have a lot of potential. But these are the top 2 I’m really great full for.

As we anticipate Hives second birthday. I’ll like to share 5 things I love about hive. This is the first. I hope to do one everyday for five days.
