In Turkey, real estate prices increased by 30% on a dollar basis in 1 year. Never before have I witnessed such a rapid increase. The increase reached 50%, especially in the Aegean Sea coastal towns where people prefer to live. This is related to remote work, which is becoming more common. Since houses are also used as workplaces, people prefer bigger houses and want to live in a beautiful environment. Rising interest rates have recently caused a price recession, but there is no price decline.
