I knew of that one but I usually do it with the Command shift 3 and cut the image after. It is easier to frame and centralise whatever you want to capture this way.

You're right, it would be better to power up along the way. However it feels very nice to pile it up and make a "massive" power up on the first of every month. Also to make part of the movement Hive Power Up Day.
