Yes but i think the problem is what has drawn many to crypto is getting rich. If you talk to your neighbors and friends the first thing out of their mouth about crypto is going to be " yes i heard john smith" made alot of money. So right off the bat that's on their mind. Unfortunatley our actions show differently than the words that come from our mouths.

So the idea of come here for community doesn't resonate at this time with many. The reasons are comparably crypto doesn't offer communities relational to mainstream networks yet. If we take something like the social media features on hive the applications etc., Comparably to mainstream its insufficient. All my family and friends are on social media. My grandmother is on social media etc.,

So thats alot of value on mainstream social media. I'm getting vastly more value there. There is a " social currency" there in a social network with the likes and " attention". It's not per se monetized but the value it garners is the same. The problem is to say come to a small social media network with less people is not the best talking point for these products at this time.

The most successful talking point for early steem and hive is getting paid for the blogs. Now because they can't handle the inflation as to say the amount of their crypto produced in relation to what's going out and who's coming in stays within an imbalance. For the reasons underlined above

So it's easier to stick with the earning for blogs and work to improve that than try to sell people on community. I'm not saying some people haven't found favorable communities they belong to here. What i am saying is this still is not resonating with enough people to have a significant impact on the growth rate to theoretically offset the inflation rate. Now there is evidence growth and inflation hasn't worked. As to say, more people come in and these projects become more valuable. It would seem maybe the prices stabilizes to a degree you have more volume that can be good or bad. Depending on who's holding what stake and what their will is.

My overall point is that there are some who are okay with these systems remaining small and that's code word for niche or controlled to the point only some can make significant money. I don't think thats a good plan overall. At this point i dont believe its enough incentive to just come to hive for the community at this time. Doesn't mean it can't change in teh future. I just don't believe that's what is happening now.

The other problem is the idea of " good content". Well i can get that anyplace free online. The internet is a source of free information.
