Battle of the blockchains on twitter: Hive v Bitcoin.

Disclaimer: This contest is highly biased by the users followers and has no reflection on how good any of these blockchain are or has any real value whatsoever in the world of crypto. With that said, lets push hive to the top of the pile and show that we win twitter is nothing else.

It's a good idea from Lukemwillis. He is a koinos OG and presumably has a hive account somewhere. Nowadays he is a full time Koinos shill and crypto enthusiast.

Nothing wrong with that. I'm a crypto enthusiast and full time Hive shill. What he has posed over the last couple of weeks on twitter is to find out which is the best blockchain out there.

So far Hive has made it to the last eight contestants and is currently up against bitcoin.

With only one hours left we should have this in the bag but there is still time to cast another vote for our favorite chain if your fast.

I'm surprised that we did so well against the biggest of them all but his feed would be heavily biased towards hive and koinos. Some of the votes did run close before this with a lot of votes cast.

It's a fun and interesting experiment on twitter but has no reflection on real life popularity.

It also depends on what you are trying to do.

Bitcoin and Hive serve two very different functions in crypto and will never be direct competitors.

Hive is fast, functional and hosts hundreds of different dapps with lots of different purposes.

Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency that is used as a method of payment and store of value against all other currencies.

They don't need to compete.

It's like comparing apples with cake. They are both food but that's where the similarities end. Bitcoin might be the first cryptocurrency but hive makes it look like the antique that it is. It still serves its own purpose but hive will satisfy a lot more purposes and a lot more manageable than bitcoin.
