Great value in the Splinterlands markets at the moment.

We have all seen the card markets drop over the past couple of months.

A year ago it would have been crazy to spend some of these numbers on splinterlands cards but the game has changed.

Now these are a bargain for cards that will never again be printed.

Some of these cards were on my list back at the height of the boom and i couldn't justify paying thousands for them. Now they are back to a couple of hundred bucks each and well worth fleshing out my deck.

I'll try to max out a chaos deck as well but there is no rush on that as prices can still keep dropping for the next few months. Until then I'll be picking up as many older maxed cards as possible for when land drops.

Just look at these lovely max versions.

Battering Ram: Very handy in low mana battles and being a neutral it gets played often. I did rent one off jarvie for the first few months of the new rental market and wanted one ever since. $206

Onyx Sentinel: A solid replacement for Lord Arianthus which i already have so this might go onto the rental market. 10% of the price for a lord. Couldn't resist the bargain. $129

Goblin Mech: I have level 6 gold of this which is a beast card in high mana battles and in melee battles so when i saw that there was one for sale at half the price of the next version and a third of the following one. i bit. I don't need it maxed as it would double the price for just one more health point so level 9 is perfect. $111

I'm all in with splinterlands so practically everything that i can earn from the rental market sticks in my account.

I hold a lot in DEC for the daily airdrop but will always spend it when the opportunity arises and there are a lot of opportunities right now.

Land is going to spike demand.

This is only guess work at the moment and piecing together bits form the town hall, discord and other posts but i think that land is going to over haul the full economy.

It depends on how this rolls out but my guess would say that land is going to produce cards.

There will be an SPS cost to produce these.

The higher the summoner level, the higher or more monsters that you can put on the production line.

The higher the collection power of these monsters, the more chance that you have or more often that you produce cards.

The higher the rarity of the monsters, the higher the rarity of the magic cards that you produce or like with potions it will increase the odds of legendary monsters, summoners producing legendary magic cards. Or gold working the same.

This will suck a lot of inventory form the rental markets all of a sudden and make higher level summoners and monsters in more demand.

This will increase rental demand and raise the prices of the market again kicking the game up a gear again.

More rental income means more market activity. Then we are laughing as everything starts to rise again.

This is all guess work but i would think that it's not a million miles away from the plan.

Therefore i am buying while others are selling. getting ahead of the game and even for my own plots.

Try for yourself.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

Cards worth a few cents now will have a much higher value in the future as the print runs out. We have a strong community and seen this happen every time as it grows with the game.
