Looking at the layers stacking every day.


For all of the time that I have spent on Hive and learning the different aspects across the eco-system it can be hard to grasp the enormity of what is being built and how much it has expanded this year.

This year more than ever we are seeing what were simple communities to begin with, expand, develop and innovate across multiple chains and projects. We always had different apps built onto the system but for the first time the enormity of what is unfolding has stuck home.

People think that nothing is happening with #hive as we have been watching in real time but if you take that step back and see how much has been accomplished over the past twelve months then the picture becomes a lot more visible.

Not just what we have on this chain but we also have created direct links to,

  • Ethereum
  • BAT
  • Wax
  • BNB

Among others with a lot more partnerships, interoperability, apps to follow.

These are a big deal as it opens up hive to a lot more people and projects. It will eat up a lot more hive as a lot of these links need you to hold certain tokens, stake, burn, or just buy them from the market and we are only beginning.

This is one year in and things are moving rapidly.

Wait until we have twenty tribes moving in different directions and linking things together.

What about 100 tribes using 5 developers each. These layers stack up very fast and innovation comes rapidly when this happens.

Stepping back and realizing that I can't keep up with the development anymore says a lot about how much is being developed.

I love it

This is what we have always wanted to see and as time goes on we will need to pick our teams. It will no longer be possible to be everywhere as we see so much happening in all directions.

For a long time, i knew everything that happened but those days have passed and I'm delighted with that.

It's exactly where we need to be heading and with a little more work on simplifying the process for people to get involved, we will see more and more people linking into hive without even realizing it and joining our eco-system.
