That's the way that the world is going.
If you were a big company then it would almost be a requirement to have these sort of policies in place and i think that for a lot of blockchain businesses that if they want to be taken seriously in the real world will need to start acting like real businesses.
Doing it this was is good for your team, your profile and the environment so it's win win to be ahead of the game.
