I was wondering why all my BSC transactions were takin a long time so I looked at the gas price, and its up to over 10 Gwei, normally its about 5 Gwei.

I thought I would look into what is causing all this demand on BSC, and it comes down to 3 apps

Top 3 Gas guzzlers on BSC

1. Santos FC football club coin - I have no idea what this coin is and what its for, but there are an enormous amount of harvest and deposit transactions.
2. Pancake swap - this is not surprising
3. BNB heroes - a new game launched on BSC

I really don't have much info about this, except it looks like it was created on coinmarketcap an hour ago

So I am guessing there was some sort of airdrop and there is a flurry of activity just after the airdrop, but if aybody knows let us all know in the comments below.

This is only just the most popular DEX on BSC, so we expect this to be in the top for gas guzzling

BNB heroes

its interesting what you find looking at gas guzzlers, BNB heroes is a new NFT game launched 15 November. I haven't played it, but it reminds me of holybread a little.

looks like you need to buy bnbheroes coin to then buy heroes, there doesn't seem to be a free to play option. if anybody has played this, comment below

moral of the story

you never know what you might find by looking at the popular thigs on the blockchain. I didn't know about BNB heroes nor the Santos FC coin, but lots of people do. This is a little trick to use before things are listed on dappradar to see what's popular.
