*WOOF WOOF* ๐ Chihuahua ($HUAHUA), The Doggo-Memecoin Barking It's Way Through The Cosmos
Naturally, I'm not a huge fan of memecoins.
I have ALWAYS steered clear of them, as I have 0 belief in them, and am not interested in "gambling" (imo, most memecoins are straight up gambling). If I wanted to gamble, I'd hit the casino.
However, a new star constellation has formed in the Cosmos ecosystem, in the shape of a Chihuahua's face!
Enter stage right: ChihuahuaChain ($HUAHUA).
The team behind $HUAHUA recently airdropped a large amount of tokens on the Cosmos ecosystem. Stakers of $OSMO, $ATOM, and $JUNO all received healthy airdrops - our WhisperNode team received a collective 4.5M tokens alone.
...and, not surprisingly, these tokens have already exploded in value, due in part to both the tokens Osmosis listing, as well as the large number of stakeholders that the token was airdropped on. Check out this great post by @jk6276 also detailing $HUAHUA and further tokenomics data.
Currently, the staking APR is I N S A N E.
We're talking in excess of over 700% APY. Plus, if you're the type that likes to compound frequently (especially if you have larger amounts), you could see this number rise astronomically. I've seen other validators run autostaking scripts that put their APY in the 10000%+ range.
My current holdings (about 1.2M tokens) is netting me an average of over 20k $HUAHUA tokens daily. With the current price ranging between $0.00420 - $0.00450s', this puts my daily yields around $100/day. Not bad at all for a token that I received absolutely free thanks to an airdrop!
Plus, the token has skyrocketed over 1000% in price since launch just a few short weeks ago, so my airdrop is now worth a few thousand bucks.
This is probably the ONLY time I will ever consider messing around with a memecoin - mainly because of the staking yields, and also because it was FREE! I'll never say no to free buckaroos, and neither should you!
