Greetings friends

"And it came to pass that when men began to multiply upon the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and took for themselves wives of all that they liked."

The issue of the "sons of God" and "the daughters of men" is a matter of endless discussion. There are many people who believe that the "children of God" were angels. I do not accept this position at all. Most of my teachers also taught that the children of God were angels and I recognize that many present-day exhibitors take that position. However, I cannot accept this view because, if those were good angels, they would not have committed that sin and, on the other hand, evil angels could never have been designated as "children of God". Furthermore, the children were, in this case, men, and not monstrosities. I don't know why many assume those sons were giants, We will deal with this matter more carefully when we get to. Now let's read.

"Then the Lord said: My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is certainly flesh, therefore his days will be one hundred and twenty years."

We believe that Noah preached for 120 years, and during that period the Spirit of God was striving to communicate with men so that they would turn to God. The apostle Peter related with great clarity that it was back in the time of Noah when the Spirit of God strove to attract human beings to God, but they did not want to return. The apostle says in his first letter, in chapter 3:18 and 19:

"For Christ also died for sins only once, the just for the unjust, to bring us to God, dead in the flesh but quickened in the spirit; in which he also went and preached to the imprisoned spirits." These spirits were in prison when Peter wrote, but they were preached to them in the days of Noah. How do we know? Verse 20 of this last passage goes on to say:

"Those who were once disobedient when the patience of God waited in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight people, were saved through the water."
