The opportunity in the markets: My own experience
As a trader, I often find myself looking for market entries on the timeframes I trade, and it makes sense that I do, but this made me reflect on a couple of important things in that regard on the day of today.
The opportunity to enter the markets
Specifically, I have been meditating on an important fact when we look for entries in the markets (whether buying or selling), and that is that what we are looking for is an opportunity, a window of opportunity to make our moves trying to win.
But, in that search, many traders make the mistake of wanting to trade at all hours, as if their lives depended on it; and nothing worse than trading out of desperation, because firstly, it denotes a biased and totally wrong view of the market and secondly, it makes you lose all your trading capital.
And worst of all, when I think about these facts, I realize that I myself made many times these mistakes in the past. In any case, they were part of my learning as a trader, but that I have come to assimilate and understand very well, and for this reason, I like to comment on them so that other traders can learn from my "painful" experiences.
But as they say out there: "nobody learns in someone else's head" so it is not easy for traders who have not experienced heavy losses in the markets to understand this. In the end, experience is the best teacher of all.

What I've learned about the opportunity
I have learned many things about opportunity in the markets, but one of the most valuable lessons I have learned in this regard is that no matter how much you want to trade at any given time, if your system and strategy are not showing you a possible entry into buy or for sale, you must not enter in any way.
Therefore, there is an error of focus when we want to trade every day and every moment, just because, just because we feel that we are taking advantage of the market...
Another error in this sense is to wrongly visualize the entry opportunities, because, said identification error, occurs precisely because of the anxiety that the trader has to buy or sell at any time without stopping to consider if it really is the right time to enter.
I know that all this sounds logical and at the same time complicated, but that is how paradoxical and complex trading is.
Respect your system and strategy
The best thing that we can do as traders when we are operating in the markets (stock, crypto or whatever), is to be patient, and wait for the timely entry, regardless of whether said entry takes minutes, hours, or days to appear, because it The most important thing in this sense is to learn to respect our trading system and strategy in a disciplined and true way.
Not doing so is falling into the chaos and anarchy of thinking that anything is valid and that we can trade erratically in the markets. Because although it is true that many times the markets are erratic (especially crypto), it is even more true that we as traders must be focused and disciplined in everything we do, at least if we want to achieve success in all of this.
So, I may want to trade the market every day, but until I see a real entry opportunity, all I can do is wait and see. In the end, patience will pay off and we will obtain success as traders, which means, in short, profitable financial gains thanks to our activity.

La oportunidad en los mercados: Mi propia experiencia
Como comerciante, a menudo me encuentro buscando entradas en el mercado en los plazos en los que opero, y tiene sentido que lo haga, pero esto me hizo reflexionar sobre un par de cosas importantes en ese sentido en el día de hoy.
La oportunidad de entrar en los mercados.
En concreto he estado meditando sobre un dato importante cuando buscamos entradas en los mercados (ya sea comprando o vendiendo), y es que lo que buscamos es una oportunidad, una ventana de oportunidad para realizar nuestras jugadas intentando ganar.
Pero, en esa búsqueda, muchos traders cometen el error de querer comerciar a todas horas, como si de ello dependiera su vida; y nada peor que operar por desesperación, porque primero, denota una visión sesgada y totalmente equivocada del mercado y segundo, te hace perder todo tu capital de trading.
Y lo peor de todo, cuando pienso en estos hechos, me doy cuenta de que yo mismo cometí muchas veces estos errores en el pasado. En todo caso, fueron parte de mi aprendizaje como trader, pero que he llegado a asimilar y entender muy bien, y por eso me gusta comentarlos para que otros traders puedan aprender de mis “dolorosas” experiencias.
Pero como dicen por ahí: “nadie aprende en la cabeza de otra persona”, por lo que no es fácil de entender para los comerciantes que no han experimentado grandes pérdidas en los mercados. Al final, la experiencia es la mejor maestra de todas.

Lo que he aprendido sobre la oportunidad
He aprendido muchas cosas sobre la oportunidad en los mercados, pero una de las lecciones más valiosas que he aprendido en este sentido es que no importa cuánto quieras operar en un momento dado, si tu sistema y estrategia no te están mostrando una posible entrada en compra o venta, no debe entrar de ninguna manera.
Por lo tanto, hay un error de enfoque cuando queremos operar todos los días y en todo momento, porque sí, porque sentimos que estamos aprovechando el mercado…
Otro error en este sentido es visualizar mal las oportunidades de entrada, pues, dicho error de identificación, se da precisamente por la ansiedad que tiene el trader de comprar o vender en cualquier momento sin detenerse a considerar si realmente es el momento adecuado para ingresar.
Sé que todo esto suena lógico y a la vez complicado, pero así de paradójico y complejo es el trading.
Respeta tu sistema y estrategia
Lo mejor que podemos hacer como traders cuando estamos operando en los mercados (acciones, criptomonedas o lo que sea), es ser pacientes y esperar la entrada oportuna, sin importar si dicha entrada tarda minutos, horas o días en aparecer. , porque lo más importante en este sentido es aprender a respetar nuestro sistema y estrategia de trading de forma disciplinada y verdadera.
No hacerlo es caer en el caos y la anarquía de pensar que todo vale y que podemos comerciar de forma errática en los mercados. Porque si bien es cierto que muchas veces los mercados son erráticos (especialmente el criptográfico), más cierto es que los traders debemos ser enfocados y disciplinados en todo lo que hacemos, al menos si queremos lograr el éxito en todo esto.
Por lo tanto, es posible que quiera operar en el mercado todos los días, pero hasta que vea una oportunidad real de entrada, todo lo que puedo hacer es esperar y ver. Al final, la paciencia valdrá la pena y obtendremos el éxito como traders, lo que significa, en definitiva, beneficios económicos rentables gracias a nuestra actividad.
