HOW DID YOU GET HERE ?

Sometimes in 2017, way early I was looking for a place on the internet
to understand crypto. 2014 if I recalled, I registered with Coinbase
to interact with bitcoin. Between 9-5 and learning from crypto was not easy. Actually it was more than 9-5 when you are on salary. I keep researching and digging through the years. Youtube is another place you get a lot of info about crypto. I knew of Dash then and tried to understand this new phenomenon.

March 2017 I found Steem. I did register with email and phone number. As you know I got to wait for
a day before I can access my account. Looking through the user interface, I cannot make sense of it. I can navigate but not knowing how to write a post. So I put it aside for a couple of months.

This was a historical view of Steem then during that time. Steem was doing okay to my knowledge being a top 20 coin. So I decided to dig more and find a way to write my first post on July 2nd, 2017. It was short and concise as you have to add #introducemyself as a tag. Since then I manage to post everyday. I manage to comprehend at first I need to purchase some steem. As you can see it is not that cheap like now.

I recalled my first post, most people, get a nice boost in pay at the time. This is it. The other post was a mere 20 cents if I am lucky enough. At first I did join cause I get to understand crypto and through the years I met quite a few folks on the way. Since I join this blockchain almost by myself I have to learn my way around. I found FAQ where you may find great etiquette and principles to be a good community members. I learn quick you need to comments as well so others can read your posts. You have to make friends, something I am not good at but I have to accommodate to survive.

My journey did not stop here cause in March 2020, Hive became instantly my destination. I was convinced to make this step cause most people I follow was heading out of Steem. Secondly The situation with Sun was not going well. It was an easy decision. This transition did not really change the core of the community. The code is law has proved to be a deal breaker cause the core of the community I know, move and pursue the goals of decentralization.

WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?

This part is what keep me here. I do not have a lot of friends. But I tried to be friends with everyone. So it is hard to rely on others to survive. Do not get me wrong we need each other to move forward. I am grateful for all of you. My main goal is learning this blockchain everyday. I like to be myself and just be around to share about Finance and sport. I did earn quite a few here and there but I purchased Hive whenever I have the funds. I rarely sell cause I need to have enough to curate and earn through my stake of Hive power. So far I do not see any drama, this is a plus cause we have grown to be more respectful of each other. This is a plus for this community. I tried to post everyday and it is not easy when you want your posts to be better than the last one. It is hard to please everyone but I know my voice will never be detrimental to this community.

I am still here cause we have great thinkers in the blockchain. There are so much to do here. With the communities arrival and
the tribes, it has become the busiest place it could be. Hive-engine opens my eyes with what smart media tokens can transform this chain. So far Hive-engine is doing its part. #leofinance is keeping me busy. Again reading is something I like but now you need to spend time to understand the flow of ideas being delivered in a daily basis. I did participate with #wleo and now with #cub. If you want to make a living here I think the possibilities are not too far from your objective. Plan and put it to work cause they are quite a few streams of income with the community.

Hive-engine may appear to be a sidechain but it is the glue that hold this chain together. Many folks can hardly post. Having many games running there with tokens for exchange and earning, you have another market right under our nose to make this place like a hot market. #dec, #dcity, #leo and many more are traded like potatoes. This is something that is working for the team of hive-engine and everyone using it. I know it is working cause I have to go there everyday. Hive has so much potential only time will tell which code is being develop to run on it. The price is too affordable for anyone to pass or dump it on the market. I can smell a dollar coming, that is why I am here.

It is fascinating to see all these are happening cause of this community. I do not know another cool community like this and I have no time to look for another one. With CUBDEFI into full mode, I am learning about this craze. Somehow we are connected altogether in a world where crypto is a major part of my life. As long this train is moving forward I will stay in it. Quite a journey and I think many share the same attitude. Another main reason I am here, you can be very loud. Get involved with everything like devs, witnesses, blogger, vlogger, etc... You can be here and stay really quiet and still curating, earning like a champs. It may look hard on the surface but the best you can be is within your reach.

When you look at what is being done inside the blockchain, you can be sure this blockchain will get better with time to come. Many witnesses post weekly to reassure us of what have done. Proposals are implemented to keep many parts running. There is one key prospect I see in Hive, the positive mindset outweighs the negative mixed with pessimism. Like the song rimes "I am only human after all..." I thank everyone for commenting and with positive criticism, I am still learning on this community/blockchain. How can I forget about meeting Hivers, Lions from different background. So much to learn from all of you around the world. Keep stackin' them Hive.
