#hivepud is here! The last one was my first time participating in this lovely tradition. February has been a great month on HIVE for me. After joining HIVE in January it's been my first full month on the platform. It's also been my first full month of posting every day. I've managed to earn well over 1000 HIVE and I've reached Minnow status! After today I'll be surpassing the milestone of 1500HP as well. What a month!

Giveaway

I want to celebrate my achievements in February by doing a small giveaway. The giveaway is for anyone to enter but I want to give a little bonus to those who don't get to participate in todays #hivepud due to having insufficient funds.

To enter:

Each person is only entered once so it's up to you if you want to do both of the tasks or only one.

BONUS:

  • Anyone who doesn't have the funds to power up 10 HIVE today will be given two entries for completing any of the above tasks. Remember to tell me in the comments if this affects you!

The draw: The draw will happen at 8PM UTC (20:00). That's in approximately 8 hours! That should leave enough time for me to do the draw, send out the rewards and for the winner to power up and get their badge. I'll be using Wheel of Names to make the draw.

Summarizing february

As I already mentioned in the ingress February has been a great month on HIVE for me. My goal for the month was to reach 1000HP. A goal that I smashed to bits! I actually made it to 1500HP! Well, almost. I'll be doing the power up today seeing as I've been saving up for the #hivepud. I still wanna credit this achievement to the month of February seeing as it's been done using those rewards.

As you can see there's another half truth. Todays power up of 560 HIVE only took me to 1476HP. I have around 30 HIVE coming in today as an author reward so I'm choosing to count that in. That means I will reach 1500HP later today.

It's extremely motivating to me to break my own goal in this manner. That really gives me the drive to keep on going. I love being on HIVE. I love reading and i love posting and I'm gonna continue to do just that!

Minnow rank reached!

Another achievement I reached rather surprisingly was that of becoming a Minnow! I was expecting it to take a litte while longer to reach the first rank but I'm not complaining. According to the recent Hive Statistics post made by Arcange this sees me into the top 10k accounts in terms of HP. According to the same post and sorting by active accounts only that barely pushes me into the top 15% of active accounts! I love stats like these.

As you can see this goal was reached 17 days ago and my account has grown quite a bit since then. I'll be pushing on for the Dolphin rank next. I've no idea how much that takes but I'm going for it!

A month of great rewards

February has, again, been a great month. I gotta say I'm quite happy, proud and appreciative of the rewards I've been getting. Much of it has been coming in as a result of curations from @ocdb / @ocd. I don't know how I can thank them enough.

What's amazing to me is that almost all of my posts this month has been curated by them. This comes as a result of sharing my blog posts on Twitter and using some relevant hashtags to spread the word on HIVE around. That's not all that it takes though. They also require the posts to be of quality and not resemble any spam. No quality, no curation. That is the biggest take away for me. The fact that they keep on curating me is like them telling me my posts are good and of quality. While the HIVE reward they're giving is great getting this approval of quality is the biggest take away for me. It's extremely motivating. We're so lucky to have great projects like these spreading joy here on HIVE.

Above are some of my stats from the last 30 days, taken from HiveStats. 4.4 HIVE rewards from curation. A number that will surely increase in March due to me having almost 60% more HP. Over 1000 HIVE rewards from writing! That's amazing to me!

I hadn't seen these numbers until today, although I've been following my progress closely. I was quite surprised to see these accumulated numbers. I have such a high drive to keep going with HIVE after seeing this!

HivePUD

So, its time to get to todays power up. It's what we're here for after all!

568 HIVE powered up today, resulting in a total of 1476HP as mentioned earlier. That's in the area of a 60% increase for this month! I love big numbers!

I've been saving up for this all month. Converting my HBD to HIVE at what seems to be the best times. I've been trying to go for a 5/1 conversion rate at the minimum. Some of the HIVE has also come from small income services like noise.cash and other faucet like sites.

I'm not sure if saving it up for the #hivepud or just powering it up instantly would be the best strategy. I would have seen some higher curation rewards throughout February if I had powered it up instead of waiting. Although if I end up getting a reward from todays competition that will turn our as the better option. I'll have to see if I'm gonna save up or not for the next one.
