i think it will be particularly interesting to see how the labels adapt as decentralized music sales come into play more. basically, every artist (that isn't lady gaga or whatever) absolutely Hates the spotify model, so as the "artist first"systems become more popular it will be great for the smaller artists, really just a matter of time before the "next big" platform for music happens,- but also it's certainly a matter of catching on.

i have always loved to see a music platform on hive-or a way to upload mp3s to the chain - it's an area we lack, in my opinion. there was a cool one called dsound that was kind of a soundcloud clone, but it kinda disappeared unfortunately.
