I am in some kind of same boat where I do not rely on Hive earning for my daily spending. Bur earning apart from job give a satisfaction that I can earn (a plan B) even if I do not have job.

It is nice utilization of leisure time and may be next year I might delve in ETH projects (currently confined to Hive only) in next year to explore more.
