Splinterlands: My Gold foil legendary and Profit calculation even after paying high price in presale 1

Even after playing Splinterlands so many year this is actually first Gold Foil legendary for me. It is only this Gold foil legendary that is getting dropped for each 1000 packs, that I decided to take part in presale and spent some $18000 in it.

So below is my Gold foil card and it's current market price is $2000, that I still guess is somewhat low as it is in very limited quantity.

Once Chaos play and tournaments will be started officially, I can bet this gold foil will certainly jump in the price and we might see this in range of 5000 USD. Apart from it I received 19 regular Dr. Blight that are also worth more then $150 a piece.

Current Valuation of the CHAOS packs.

Presale 2 has started and look like CHAOS packs in open market are going higher then it used to be in time of presale 1. I remember in Presale 1m CHAOS pack in Hive-engine were in the range of $8 per pack and Voucher were selling at range of $16 to $20. Now in this presale 2 CHAOS pack is showing valuation of $13 and VOUCHER are also trading at range of $11.
Though these prices bring surprise to me but I think market is smart enough to do the price adjustment. I was so wrong with price of VOUCHERS with presale 1 and though spending $21 for a pack is FOMO but if you have analyze it with a bigger picture of 1000 packs bought from Splinterland's game site then it is perfectly break even and shows profit.

Expenditure vs profit in taking part in presale 1.

I think any one who has taken part in presale for at least 1000 packs, required 870 VOUCHERS and $3.6 in SPS , I will say that average price paid for pack is $21 and so total price paid for it is $21870 =$18270 Now for $18270, player got 1000 packs that is currently values at $13000. A gold foil Dr. Blight that is of $2000. 19 regular Dr. Blight that is 15019 = $2850 "The Legionnaire" title that is around $2000.

Adding it up all, it is instant profit of 19850-18270 = $1580.

My calculation is little different due to pool.

I used the Cardauctionzcom1 pool and I already have written about in my earlier post that how I saved $700 . So my 1000 pack just cost me $17500.

Apart from all the above good received by players in above calculation, I got 1002 CAAD tokens too and they are now valued at $3.5 per token , that make my token profit to somewhere at $3500. so my earning calculation come as 13000+ 2000 + 2850 +2000 +3500 -17500 = $5850

Upcoming profits.

Instant profit is not the end of the profits, these 1000 packs will keep giving some kind of guaranteed airdrop cards in coming days. those will be the additional profits for the players who took part in presale 1.

My Future Strategy.

I am much undecided to play in "Wild and Modern league" and if market shows nice value of CHAS packs, I might think to sell them. Since I will not require Dr. Blight too, I will put them in rent. I am expecting some nice rental income from these cards as they will not be minted further and this scarcity concept is one of the factor that should drive it's price up in both market and rentals.
