I am very happy to participate in a contest from @whatageek, I fondly remember the Marvel contests of yesteryear, this time it is a leofinance contest where he invites us to predict what a society would be like where there is no traditional money, a society where the official money is the cryptocurrency.
I believe that this future is not the one we would like, I believe that banks and governments will take a step forward to take away the magic from the crypto world and even if some freedoms were taken away, such as privacy and autonomy, technology will always remain at our disposal.
In the future I assume that famous actors and celebrities will have their own tokens as well as our friend leofinance I can imagine a Brad Pitt token that will increase in price every time a new movie comes out.
Regarding payment methods, I believe that there will be cards that allow faster transfers between wallets as well as credit cards, but without an intermediary bank, I do not think it is impossible to achieve.
This future is not very far, in Asian countries, through applications and QR codes, people buy food and trade with each other, leaving banks aside, this will generate tax evasion so I do not think that governments continue to allow it, but The best thing is that we don't have to wait long for this future. I think that in 9 years we will be there and we will be able to verify it.
