Procrastination. The mortal enemy of the productivity of humankind. You arch-nemesis in achieving your goals, or at least getting somewhere with something. We've all battled this fiend at least once, if not more. I know I have, and on many occasions I lost. Many. Occasions. But battles have been won as well. Or else I'd probably be homeless by now. Getting over that hilltop is something we have to do on our path. And once you fulfill that task, it is a wonderful feeling. But if you give in to procrastination, you can miss out on a lot of good or even great opportunities. In economic terms we call that opportunity cost.

Even in cryptocurrency, procrastination can be the devil incarnate. Especially when seeing something that interests you and looks promising. Great projects for example, in terms of use case as well as Return On Investment. I remember looking at a Bitcoin article a few years ago in 2012 and thinking "oh, hey that's cool, I should look into that at some point. That point came in 2017. Had I done my due diligence on research back then, the amount of opportunities would be vast indeed. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret the path I'm on now, but I am aware of certain moments in my life that embody the meaning of opportunity cost. And sometimes the best lessons are taught to us the hard way. Now I know to never leave an interesting crypto-covering rock unturned when some project or whatever catches my eye. I would advise you to do the same, do your research as soon as possible. Invest as soon as you have funds available and the market is "right". Because if you don't the absurd volatility of pretty much every cryptocurrency will have you banging your head against the wall. :)
