Is the testenet airdrop season, every corner is filled with one testnet or the other with either them promising an airdrop or not. In the past I had gotten airdrops based on luck, never had to hunt for airdrops before. But seeing the Aptos airdrop and how much the receivers got from the Aptos. It doesn’t hurt to try this airdrop out, some need a little bit of money deposited for swapping and trading. I have come to learn a lot from airdrop hunting and its teaching me a lot, first of all, you need to be patience.

source The patience you need to have is patience in reading the rules and regulations needed to participate in the airdrop. I can’t count how many mistakes I made when I was participating on the airdrop, because I was inpatient. I was sent Near coin to the testnet address because I failed to read the instructions not to send NEAR to that address because its a testnet address. I once put the wrong address in the google form because I failed to read in between the line, this may affect my eligibility for the airdrop, but at least, lessons got learnt.

In my hunting for airdrops, I got phished to and got wiped off 97% of my ETH in my wallet, because I was inpatient once again. I got tagged to a post to a fake airdrop claim that I participated in, I clicked the link and I saw a timer, due to fear of missing the deadline I hurriedly clicked on the link to claim my airdrop and git phished 97% of my ETH. It was after few seconds I decided to check etherscan and saw the phishing warning from etherscan. So when next you want to click that link, make sure you crosscheck the address on etherscan to be sure of what you are clicking.
