Bear Market Filter: Creating Your Opportunity

One thing is certain, the next Bull market will have the crypto space so crowded, more crowded than the last one. 2018 Bull run brought me into the crypto space, I saw the bitcoin pump and I was amazed and wanted to get myself some bitcoin money, not knowing I was investing at the top, the value of my investment went down every day. This was extremely discouraging, I am still wondering why I never give up or quit crypto. In all my experience in crypto, losing and making money, I never thought of quoting, may be I am just destined to be in this crypto space.

But I have seen lots of people who quit crypto after few months because they lost money. After losing money, instead of quoting, I chose to learn from my mistakes, my first crypto loss, was buying a coin called byte coin (BCN), I bought the coin because it was pumping and didn’t want to miss out, the coin crashed and pride didn’t let me take my loss, so I decided to HODL, I invested $150, that later went down to $0.1. I took my lesson and decided that, buying coins at pump time is not a good idea, but other people that had the same experience with me quit crypto. They decided to use that experience as the reason to call crypto a scam, gamble or too risky.

This is where the filter takes place, crypto is a gem, some people know this, some people doubt this, the doubters are still looking from outside, and patiently waiting for it to burst so they can proudly say, they dodged the crypto disaster. Well, I hope they sleep fine in few years time when regrets keep knocking on their doors. While some just have the gamble nature and are neither here nor there, just want to take advantage of the situation, so they come invest for the short time, they get lucky they make profit, they bounce, they get unlucky they make losses, they still bounce. We also have the FOMO people who are just here because they heard this is where the new money is, so they invest, but they are not ready to lose their money, the market easily shakes them out with some few loses. While we have we, the long term investors who are here for the long run.

A lot of people have left the crypto space, especially the NFT space for obvious reasons. The market takes just as it gives, but what can we, the long term holders do, we just have to take the opportunity and build more.
